Description
Powder extinguishers are very common extinguishers which are known to be used across all types of fires.
Powder extinguishers come in two different versions, cartridge and stored pressure whereby each serve their own purpose.
The cartridge operated powder extinguisher is constructed differently as the agent and propellants are stored separately due to the environment the extinguisher is used in.
Stored pressure powder extinguisher stores the agent and propellant together in the same cylinder.
