Description
Water is the oldest way of extinguishing fire. Nowadays due to active extinguishing additives the effectiveness has considerably been increased and preserved.
Mainly water has a refrigerant extinguishing effect. Besides preventing to continue to transform combustible material and stopping the supply of combustible gasses, it also blocks oxygen and smothers the fire quick and effectively.
Water is only suitable for fire classes A. Such as fire of solid and organic material wood, paper, coal, straw.
